New York now houses a one of its kind chocolate museum, and the Master Chef of its kitchen, Jacques Torres comes along with all sorts of recipes. Moreover, it gives an insight into the history of chocolate through a variety of chocolate tastings, artifacts and much more to enjoy.
Additionally, it shows the evolution of chocolate from tree to bar through paintings and demonstrations. While children get hands-on experience over bon-bon and traditional Mexican hot chocolate preparation.
The museum, besides being educationally and deliciously attractive, features a fun kids’ corner. The little minds get to unearth “undiscovered artifacts” hidden in sand, and play chocolate shop owner with a toy kitchen and cash counter.
Things to do inside the museum
Once you are inside the place, you are no longer free as the chefs get you going on delicious delicacies. The Master Chef Jacques demonstrates eye-catching recipes like Tarte glazed with chocolate and hazelnuts and Bombe au chocolat.
While the adults are busy sampling their recipes, the children run to the kids’ corner. It not only houses the toy kitchen and play area, but also gives way to fun and competitive games.
