(Must have Android apps for students) College life brings with it a sense of growing up. And it can be difficult. Many of us move to a different city, meet new people, learn new things, and, as a matter of fact, start a new life. Things can be initially confusing (as it was with me too), but eventually everything falls into place.

Since we all have our smartphones to get us through this, here are ten must have Android apps for students which can make our lives a lot easy, and organised!

1. Coursera

Coursera is an online platform where you can access hundreds of courses offered by several universities across the world. The courses are divided into categories like science, language, humanities, etc. and come with videos, presentations, and recommended readings designed specifically for this online platform. All the courses are free, but you need to pay a substantial amount to purchase the certificates (otherwise, you can view your progress only in the app/website). This app is useful to help you with your courses, or doing background researches, or even for just learning for fun. There is also an option to download the course material and study offline, at your own pace. This is one of the best apps I have used till date and very strongly recommend to everyone. Thus, it is on top of our list of must have Android apps for students.

must have android apps for studentsReferencing can be a real headache for college students. I had to start writing papers in my very first semester, and had to make sure that the pages containing the references is absolutely perfect. That is when I turned to this app- RefME, (recently renamed as Cite This For Me) which made my life unthinkably easier. MLA, APA, Harvard- this app can help you out with all the commonly used referecing styles. Just enter the required information (from tha back of the book, basically) such as the name, the publisher, etc., and your job is done! For lazier people like me, there is also a handy option to scan the barcode of the book to get it referenced. You can create projects and store several references under them. This app is not just extremely useful, but also very user friendly.

This is where this app comes to use. Using LongShot, you can screenshot pages at one go. In other words, instead of having seven screenshots from a website, you will now have only one, and all the information will be assembled at one place, without you having to frantically search which image out of the seven contains that one line you need to note down. Moreover, this app comes handy even for other purposes, such as taking screenshots of lengthy conversations, etc., and most importantly, saving your gallery from a lot of unnecessary clutter.
