2. High Fidelity
This movie is based on a novel of the same name. The only thing worse thing you can deal with, besides a bad relationship, is five bad relationships. The central character of the movie, Rob (played by John Cusack), is a music enthusiast. After getting dumped by his current girlfriend, Rob decides to consider all his past relationships to see where he went wrong. After seeing Rob’s condition, one is sure to feel that perhaps their condition was far better and that some people have it worse than them.
3. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
The movie, revolving around Joel (Jim Carrey) and Clementine (Kate Winslet), is basically a complete recap of your whole relationship. Right from watching them fall in love and then seeing all of it going horribly wrong, this movie sympathizes with you completely in understanding your wish to forget it all. But there is still a positive aspect here to this. After reliving all those lovely moments, you can definitely say that there was something worth loving and cherishing in your relationship.
4. The Holiday
Here, two heartbroken women, Amanda (Cameron Diaz) and Iris (Kate Winslet) decide to swap homes for the holidays. Though initially depressed and tired of their lives, eventually both of them find love again. Giving hope and showing that you can always find someone better, makes this movie one of the best options to mend a broken heart. It also proves that going on a vacation and taking a break might be the best solution in getting over a breakup.
5. Annie Hall
This movie is one of the most brilliant romantic movies ever made. It involves Alvy (played by Woody Allen) and Annie (played by Diane Keaton). The two of them go through every up and down in a relationship and fight their way through to remain together. But eventually, even though they loved each other dearly, they decide to end it. The movie teaches us that loving someone truly is the hardest thing one can do. In the end, one still has to move on without dwelling on the past and accept things the way they are. Most importantly, acceptance is the first step to get over any type of grief.
